Question Is this possible?

Car + Driver E320CDI testing

I am not familiar with Car + Driver's methods of evaluation. Could somebody elaborate on their approach?

Still, I'd like the concept of a diesel sports car.

Up until the age of five, my family and I lived in Marblehead Mass. My dad had a car business in Salem, and we had a nice house on the neck.

What I like about Marblehead, is that you can walk to wherever you want to go(Marblehead Munchies still has some good subs, Ronaldo's used to be excellent, now they serve waste!), you can see Boston across the Cosway, and the annual fireworks display is incredible. Enough boats in the harbor though!

What my parents told me they didn't like were the snotty neighbors, the booze bingeing late night clubs, the jerks parking across our driveway, and the taxes!

Come join us in NH! We welcome, ya! A little bit less congestion makes for a peaceful breath of fresh air, and friendlier drivers.

No pollution control here in NH on motor vehicles, either. So CDI's are in.

I just consider the CDI's a challenge, because I'd LOVE to race one and beat it and see the look on the driver's face when a near 20 year old MB diesel walks away from them! The driver of the classic would be a greasy man with a red and black checkered work jacket and school papers flying out the windows with brake dust covered rims, and a Christian symbol on the back, blowing a load of soot out the back. AAAaaaahhh,....That would be nice, eh?

I want BOTH the 350 and 300 to be able to do this. The 300 can do it for sure, and the 350 will haul too. I don't care WHAT these vehicles are rated for torque and horsepower. I'm ready for action!

Marblehead

Don't you miss the fried clams at flynnie's?
and Maddies? well, you were probably too young for maddies...

I do... I was the camp director at Children's Island (did you ever go?) out in the harbor a few years back... Great times in Marblehead... *snif*

I almost went to Portugal in a 21 foot boat one morning- fog was soooo bad and the compass decided that would be an opportune time to crap out. Good thing for that bell bouy...

Marblehead Neck eh? We lived over on Green Street.

what am I doing in Georgia?

Okay, maybe some of you guys would have a suggestion for a good (moderately priced) diesel mechanic on the South Shore. I'm currently in Norwell and my baby is hurtin...
