300D Parts car, what to do?
Anyone got a need for any 617 or W123 Parts? Taking orders! Blue interior.
I'm in a debate with myself on what to do with the rusty 300D part car I found. It is a 1979 300D Rusty and falling apart, some broken windows etc. 150buk$ before towing. 157,000 on the OD! is that a fair price? Should I part it out then junk it? There are parts I can use I see now. (some interior trim pieces, driver side fender) If so what other parts should I snag before junking it. Is it a Turbo? did the 79's have turbo's yet? I did not get to look cause I was in a rush and couldnt get to the engine. Bush was grown over removed hood. If it is NA.... maybe engine tranny combo could go into the Suziki Samari a friend is giving me?

I don't think they were turbocharged until 1980. I'm sure I'll get corrected if I'm wrong.
The instrument cluster might be useful, as well as the climate control system if it still works. What kind of shape is the interior in? I imagine it's pretty bad since you say some of the windows are busted out. |

id pass if it were me. the climate control is the older one, the weirdo heater valve thing is a pain, no turbo, not much on it worth enough to go to the trouble personally.

That would probably be a sweet combination in the Suzuki but I can't help to think that the most ideal combo would be the 617 turbo or no engine, manual tranny arrangement in a small longbed truck like a Toyota or Nissan.
