NW Portland, south of PGE Park, in the "trendy" (though less so now that the Pearl District is "hot") NW 21st/23rd area.

I figure I'll still be able to find decent parking, since this car only adds 1 foot to my current car, which doesn't have power steering. I tried parallel parking the 300D, and the turning radius was nice and tight.

Tx for the info on MB Tex and the steering issue. I'll just take it to Sig at MBI Motors.

I always wondered what those holes were there for. I had thought that it was from body work as well. Phew!

Anyone know what that weird little box with springs in it just forward of the coolant overflow reservoir is? It has been on every 300D I've looked at, but never has been hooked up to anything.

Thanks,
Aaron

Those 'springs' are the load resistors which are used to control the HVAC blower speeds.
