My car on the hwy will get between 600-650 miles per tank.

Plantman correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't your car have a 26 gal. tank?

I'm pretty sure it's 22-23. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the replies. My 90 Lexus LS400, with a V8 gets about 350-400 per tank and I think it is a 22 gallon tank. May be able to get about 450 if all highway miles. My 92 Buick is what really guzzles the gas and it is a V6.

550 and counting

I now have the wvo setup working. Although I forgot to plug the fuel banjo bolt and it was sucking some diesel while on wvo I am still at about 550miles and 3/8ths of a tank left. I started running wvo wuth 2/3rds of a tank of diesel.

I am estimating I will easily make 1000 miles on this "tankfull of diesel" now that I am not unconciously blending my WVO with diesel. although I am cheating

I've been doing some conversions from kilometres / liter to miles /gallon, and come up with that I get 41mpg@70 on my E220 CDI (W210 wagon).
I'm not very good at conversions, but the book states that it yields 0.57litres pr 10 kilometres. However that is at 90 kph, and I was doing 110 kph when I did the test, ang got 0.61 litres pr 10 km's

Thanks.

I drove 400 miles before deciding to fill-up. She took 20 gallons @1.63 per gallon.

I can accept 20mpg , city driving on such a large car.

Hwy is about 31-32mpg

well same fuel/station as before (getty)
now only produced 422 miles on 17.265 gal = 24.4 mpg. that's more of a 'normal' mileage for the car.
pretty much the same type of driving as well.

perhaps those 2 tanks over 30mpg were anomolies.
