fingered it out!
i removed the sub oil pan last night.
i removed #1 and #2 connecting rod bearings and found them
to have a 0.127mm difference. the new kz bearings were mix-matched in the box. before assembly i miked the crank journals all the same size (51.70mm)
now i have to remove the main oil pan and check the rest
bummer.

mbhack .. I have never heard of "mix-matched" out of the box, but I am kinda new at this. Guess that was a lession for us all at your expense, like Larrys IP experience. Good luck. Are you gona check the crank bearings?
