I was driving in Clark County WA today and I saw an '84 300D with a for sale sign in the window. The asking price was $2000. Originally it looked like whoever is selling it was asking as much as $2700 for it at one time. The odometer showed 282K miles and it said on the sign that it had new tires and alternator and it ran good. The body and paint looked OK but I didn't really take the time to look it over that good. It's everyone's
favorite color, red. The beige MB tex interior had a bit of wear. The driver seat had tears in it. The dash had some small cracks and the wood on the console had many small cracks. The wood trim on the A/C panel was missing and it had an aftermarket stereo. Also it has polished alloy wheels. As I said, I didn't take too much time to look at it and I certainly didn't drive it nor hear it run. If anyone is interested in it, I can get more info over the next few days. I have no personal interest in the car nor do I personally know the owner.
