Diesel fuel shot up this week! Last Sunday I paid $1.98, it was up to $2.15 when I checked on Friday, I bet I will be paying $2.20 on Monday!!! I need a gas car for this time of year.

$2.19 today!!!

There is a Getty station in Seabrook, NH that sells diesel for 1.89.9. He sells some of the freshest diesel fuel. Better than most truck stops. Plus he has a high pressure pump that comes in handy when filling 20 + gallon tanks.

We always get off topic, their must be a lot of members here with ADD. I like the diesel clatter, mileage, plus they are simple to work on. With the newer ones I like the power. I want an E320CDI finally a diesel with guts.

Hi my name is Jeff,
I'm also a dieselholic, my problem first started a couple years ago with MB diesels but grew to Volkswagen and Cummins diesels.... Yes, I spend all my free time researching different diesels and soon hope to get a bigger, more powerful, louder, cummins diesel. Yes I am a dieselholic.

Well I have to admit - Yes I have a problem.

Its been nearly a month since driving the SD and I feel deprived. You sure start to miss that clatter, esp. when driving around a gasser audi.
I pass it in the garage and get the shakes... Waxed it twice now just to get the dust off!
no gasser will ever compare....
Soon enough the interior restoration will be complete and I will be reunited ... no more hanging around the bus stop just to get a wiff of the biodiesel they burn here and .... (tremble) the, the beautiful clatter

There can be such things as "positive" addictions and obsessions...

...if no one realizes how remarkable these cars are, they'll "go away" like the millions of Ford Fiestas they sold but which you never see.

I've noted before, I have an interest in Packards...and countless ones were scooped up by enthusiasts (many just wanting a "station car") who fell in love with the quality of the cars and kept them up...and this was in the '50s, when '30s Packards were about the age many of our diesels are now!

Count me in...diesels are the only way to go. If i could only get my hands on a S400CDI...mmmmmmm torque monster. If I didn't get my E300, i would have opted for a dodge ram with the cummins, its just so loud and dieselly

Do I count? I've had 3 Peugeot diesels. I'd buy more but while there are more Peugeot diesel engines out there, there aren't many Peugeot cars left.

The closest I've come lately is talk my brother into getting a Ford F250 diesel.

I miss the smell of diesel in the morning, it smelled like victory.
