Wanted- Turbo parts for 82 w123 (617...)

I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a few parts:

a Garrett turbo, air cleaner to turbo "U" shaped pipe
an air cleaner bracker, shaped like a "T" and the little rubber mounts screw
to it.

Thanks

Uh oh, engatwork might start getting annoyed with all these threads....

Well my quick answer is toss the stock filter and get a K&N with the 240D oil seperator, faster spool up, more distinct sound to the turbo, and no more brackets or mounts to worry about. All the online parts stores such as fastlane will carry the air cleaner mounts and air cleaner bracket, but I'm not so certain about the U bend pipe. Do you need the whole thing or can you settle for just the seals?

Call Bernard at European Connection for used parts: 858-322-2591. He has about seven acres of cars in his exclusively MB salvage yard. He is in Kentucky, but ships UPS everywhere. Tell th e sweet voice that answers the phone (Shawna) that "Bob in Covington" said hi!

On vacation I saw a number of W116 on the big island, not all of them were rust free however
With the high cost of fuel over there a diesel makes sense if you want a big car to run over to Kilahuea or the East coast.
FWIW, I run a K&N RU1000 filter on one of the 300TD I own. Its a little work to get it right (with a air/oil separator) but worth it in my book!
