Unhappy Shop Forum Bogging Down

I've noticed lately that sometimes it seems like the website is busy, gets stuck or whatever. There have times that I couldn't post replies or even get into the site. What's going on?
It got stuck while I was trying to post this new thread.

It certainly is bogged down. Hell, it took nearly one minute for the reply page to load.

How do you take a 'photograph' of a web page like that?

Ctrl + Print Screen, went into MSpaint where I pasted it and saved it as a picture.

It's called a screenshot. If you're on a PC (which you probably are) if you push the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard, it will create an image of whatever's on your screen at that time. You can then open up your image editing software application of choice and Ctrl-V or Edit Menu -> Paste to get the image off the clipboard. Then you can crop it to just include whatever you want like Boostn did.

If you're on a Mac, you can hold down Command-Shift and the 4 key, and then you get a little crosshair cursor. Then you can click and drag to just select a portion of your screen, and once you let go of the mouse button, you hear a little shutter sound and a PDF version of the screen image is saved on your desktop. There you go!

I never realized you don't have to push ctrl with print screen, but alt + print screen just takes the window you are in. Print screen itself takes a picture of whatever you see on your monitor at the given time, I just trimmed out the other stuff.

Is the clipboard the same thing as ' notepad' ?

After hitting printscreen, open a compatable image viewer, Paint in included in windows, and click on "paste" from one of the drop down lists in the top left row of stuff(edit, file, etc, etc). It should paste the image from the not-an-actual-program "clipboard"

I've noticed the same thing. The site wouldn't open for me for an hour or so last night, and the same thing happened on the weekend.

Is it time for a filter change? Algae in the tank?
