It will definitely get repainted as soon as I get the leak under the injection pump repaired, which might be tommorow.

Then I'll strip off as much stuff as I can and take it to my cousin for the paint job.

I actually saw one this morning with excellent paint and was in awe, wishing it was mine.

Thanks.

Actually, I had to crop the palm trees in order to fit the pic. What you see is grass, but compared to snow and ice, I guess you could mistake it for a palm of some sort.

The paint does look good in the pics and from about 10 feet away.

If it weren't for the roof and hood being badly faded, It would be fine.

Seeing as how my cousin will paint it for nothing, I may as well take advantage of the deal. All i will do is pay for the paint and clearcoat.

Keep warm.

Warden - the clearcoat on my hood and tops of the fenders is shot, if it wasn't for that my car would look almost perfect. Problem is everyone around here wants too much money to redo the clearcoat, more than what a complete repaint from Maaco would cost.

That's no fun...

My paint's perfect except for the dent on the left rear and the hood. I think the spots are where the paint's worn thorugh to the primer form too many years of waxing. Here are some pictures form an old post I made about it.

Warden - it looks like your paint has worn out.
My clear coat is almost completely flaked off. It looks terrible. It'll just be a matter of time before it's all gone. I'm just wondering its possible to just respray a clear coat. I'd be able to do that myself.
