Lets get a roll call on the 300SDs!
 

Calling all W116, W126, and W140 diesel owners! I've seen how the 240D roll call is coming along (nicely), and I want to know how many 300SDs we have here. I'm talking about 78-85(W116 and W126), and 92-93(W140). No 300SDLs, 350SDs or SDLS, or S350s, just 300SDs.
I will go first.

Silberdistel green 1981 300SD (w126) Mileage is unknown, around 200K plus. The odometer broke at 198K.

You know, of course, the 300SD of 92-93 is actually a W140 350SD. Yes, it is not a 3 liter.;)

Ok, although a W140 300SD is actually a 3.5L 350SD and S350, it's badged as a 300SD which I think is an unforgivable error by MB. Nevertheless, it says 300SD on it. So, only MBs badged as 300SDs please.

I got one, an 83 it is umm well.... not a factory color but a beautiful dark metalic blue it has 203578 miles on it and runs great (without that pesky egr it really runs good) Its name is Otto

I've an '84 which is about halfway down the road to rehabilitation.

1985 300SD California Emissions currently being converted to federal. 301,000 miles. Original engine, transmission and turbo. Diamond Blue Metallic paint, blue leather interior. 2002 CLK 320 aluminum wheels with 225/60-16. Manual boost controller. Euro headlights and clear corners.

Got an 81 300SD. 137,000 miles. I hope to get a lot more miles out of it.

I own one of the "midbadged" ones....I have owned it form 5 years and I am the second owner

1983 300SD with 176000 miles with a tan velour interior. Purchased about one year ago, the same day I got engaged!:) The car is truly amazing (and so is my wife).

I put in the euro headlights, new shocks, oil cooler lines and a dash rheostat.
