Cosmetically, my 240D is kinda crappy with dings and bits of rust all over...... But it runs like a champ with only 135k miles on an incredibly fast engine.

And one excellent improvement I've made is attachment of Corvette luggage rack over the rear trunk deck. Hell, the rack was so huge it had to be surgically shortened by welder to fit the trunk deck. I like the luggage rack alot. It dresses up the car and provides excellent mounting point for my wilson cb radio antenna. The most serious use the rack has been put to is hauling deer carcass during hunting season.

Thats an old military trunk in the foreground that fits perfectly on the luggage rack..... i call it "diplomatic immunity" against getting pulled over by police, say for doing 80mph on state roads.
