Thanks for the fast replies. I will try to answer your questions. No I did not here any odd sounds, smells, or vibrations before this happened no one could tamper with the car as I live out in the country and have a fenced in lot and dogs that will warned me if some one is around. I was at half a tank and had not refueled yet. I did the valves adjustment in September. I check the primer pump on the side of the IP for leaks there does not seem to be a leak there. I put some clear braded hose on the return line and could not see any bubbles. Will try some biocide but the small filter looked clean and as I understand it should look black if algae is present. Is there a check valve in the IP that could be leaking down? Also last night at work (I work second shift) when I left as I was doing my 20 sec. cranking to start the car I noted white diesel smelling smoke before it started and belched out the black smoke. The car runs like normal after it starts. This is a mystery to me. Again thanks for all the help.

Dave1shere.

I tried to upload a picture but the board is
saying one can't post a picture twice.
So, go to this link and scroll down to
the picture with the glow plugs and glow plug
relay in it.
You'll see the metal fuse on the relay.
Yours might be blown.

Glow plug light

Louis.

Is LB thinking, "told you"?

As with most of the posts, I certainly learned from reading this one.

There is one thing that is still unusual if I have been running for more than a minute and I turn the lights on the glow plug light on the dash cycles on and the buzzer go off just like when you first start. Go figure that one out it has me stumped.
