Where can I get a fitting to grease door hinges?

I don't like using the spray-on lithium grease and want to use REAL grease. Any idea where I can get the fittings? Is it some kind of universal thing or special MB. It obviously isn't like the ones that everyone uses on the suspensions.
Thanks
David

I have been forgetting to ask this for months. I was told some of the older cars had them in the tool kit. Beyond that, I'm clueless..

I need door hinge bushings too..

Some of the larger chain saws used to have a "roller at the end of the bar and the greese gun for that is what I use. Call a saw shop and see if they still sell them.

Yep, I use exactly the same thing as Stevo does. Any store that sells chainsaws other than possibly Wal-Mart should have one of them.

It's easy, if your hinges are the same as my SDL

On my '87 300SDL all you need is a rubber tip fitting for your grease gun. Press the rubber tip against the little grease recepter on the hinge and squeese the handle of the grease gun. This rubber tip fitting can be found at PEP Boys, about $4.00 as I recall.

Walmart DOES have them, they're about $4, look in the section where the airtools are (don't ask why they're there.)

Want......,

I used to have a pump oil can with a round nose that worked well. Unfortunately, I can't find it any more.

I have doubts about the effectiveness of the rubber tip. It may not depress the little ball. I have a needle fitting on one of those small pistol grip grease guns. All I use it for is the 123 door grease fitting and a similar fitting that is in the Double Cardan u-joint on my antique Ford four wheel drive pick up.

Have a great day,

I bought a needle attachment for my grease gun once so I could get to the U-joints of my wife's Tahoe but the thing bent on me the first time I tried using it. It seemed really flimsy. I was able to return the thing to get my money back. Are there better ones out there? Can someone post a photo of their needle that is holding up OK?
