Headlight Adjustment Specs 1983SD

It appears my headlights are out of wack. Anyone know the specs or heights settings for a 1983 SD?

Looking for a base line to start with.

Thanks

I just pull up to a wall or garage door. Make sure you are on a level surface. I put my lows as high as possible so when I hit the highs I can see waaaaaaay out there.

or park on a dark street

I just drove down a back street the other night and set them while the car was idling. Took it for a little spin and stopped acouple of times to fine tune and you're good as new.
For me, I prefer to have the right side light a little to the fog stripe for spotting deer and the lft side a little to the right of the center line so you don't piss anyone off.

From there it is a matter of feel to how you like them to shine down the pavement. In town not too high, lots of highway night driving and I fudge a little high. These are so easy to do that I have a stubby wrench that just put in the glove box for adjustments on long trips. During deer season I like them high and wide...
