Best sealed beams?

I have yet to switch to Euros, but I have a headlight where the seal on the sealed beam has become unsealed, so there is no vacuum around the filament and there is condensation on the interior of the glass, which may explain some of my headlight problems. I'm going to replace it, and what is the best brand to use? I'm currently using some Halogens, and I want something brighter, and I cannot afford any Euros at this point. So, what brand do I look for?

H4 conversions?

I plan to put those in the next time I need headlights (I don't like the flat Euros), but in the past I've replaced my sealed-beam bulbs with Sylvania Xtra-Vision with good results. For sealed-beam units, thye do a pretty good job of lighting up the road.

The Xtra Visions are awesome as the Warden said and Larry Bible has been saying for some time.

I have euros on one of my 84's and Xtra Visions on the other and I like the Xtra Visions better. Although, to be fair, the one with euros has some kind of an electrical condition where all the lights are dimmer (dome, instruments, etc)

Sounds like either you have something in the car drawing too much current, a weak battery, or a dying alternator possibly. Does the car suffer from dead batteries fairly often?

190D22, I have a slightly used Sylvania Xtra-vision somewhere if you want it for $2 + shipping its yours. I bought them new and used them for about a year then installed Hellas (H4).
Euros have a much different pattern, but to be honest they bother some oncoming drivers. Occasionally I get drivers who flip their high beams at me, they think I have my highbeams on when I don't. The Sylvanias do not have that problem.

Thanks for the offer dieseldiehard, but my sylvania cool blues are good for the meantime. I will eventually upgrade to euros I hope. Before I had my headlights properly angled people would flash their high beams at me so I'd turn mine on to say "THEY'RE OFF HOW'S THIS?!"

I just realized something
My lamps are 7-inch ones for a W123, not the correct size for a 190D duhhhh! Oh well.
If you go H4 use standard 55W bulbs, and I recommend using Hella Optilux bulbs, they are tops (I don't endorse PIAA junk!)
For a great selection of lamps and bulbs see Susquehanna Motorsports: http://www.rallylights.com/
