SEMA-Federal Update

"Reducing gasoline consumption will impose significant costs on producers and consumers, according to a government study. At the request of the U.S. senate, the congressional budget office studied three methods for achieving a 10% reduction in fuel consumption:raising the CAFE standards, instituting a CAFE credit-trading system for manufacturers and raising the gas tax.
...Raising the federal gas tax by about 46 cents a gallon would be the least expensive alternative..."

Diesel fuel isn't mentioned, but if this goes through...well, you know.

Can you believe we pay these people to come up with things like this !!!?
