Wagon on eBay

Hey everybody, checking in after a long absence. My wagon is running good, no complaints, just thought I'd pass this along:

Haven't seen it mentioned here yet. I wish I had the money...

Very nice wagon. I would love to have it next to my 79 240D. Same color, now that would be the start of a very nice collection!

the seller is most likely selling it to a local party. that's how i snagged my wagon: found it on ebay, contacted the seller and asked if he wouldn't mind a private transaction...

$9500 seemed high to me.

9500 not too high

9500 not too high for me I'm really desparate for a P-E-R-F-E-C-T body and the euro lights, fancy shifter, and that fancy steering wheel in addition to the general condition of that wagon.....well lets just say i'd have paid considerably more for it!! OR Look at it this way; say you find a good car for 4500 but theres a spot of rust, experience tells me that that spot will run $3000 when all is found, fixed and repainted, and you still have a repaired, not original piece of sheetmetal. well to each his own... we sailors have an unspoken code: never belittle anothers vessel for it may be the one that saves your life someday. OR: "like every woman, each mercedes has its beauty" will someone puh-LEASE stop feeding me so much corn!!

Must be the combined effect of road salt and sea salt on the mind.:D

Here in the west, virtually all the cars are rust free. I bought my TD with 120k miles for $3200. For the price of an airline ticket to Denver or Phoenix, you can pick up rust free MB's for much lower prices.

I wouldn't speak ill of a boat unless it was a Coleman canoe or a MacGregor sailboat.
