81 SD AC compressor fuses

Is there another fuse somwhere for the AC compressor on these cars? The main fuse is fine but all of a sudden the clutch won't engage. I tried to jump it at the dryer but it does nothing.
Even if it were froze up shouldn't it click or something?

Can you turn it by hand somehow to check it?

Try also jumping it at the relay which is above the drivers fender well inside the engine compartment (unless I'm confusing that with the aux fan relay).

No A/C

Mine did the same thing on my 85 300DT, I had plenty of refridge
in the system, and I was bafled, I checked the safety valve switch
on the dryer, all ok, then I found a A/C control unit, it looks like
a big relay, I opened it up and found the solder joints had failed
tried to fix, but no good. Bought a new one, it works great!
On my car it is located right infront of my fuse box, mounted on the fender.

Hope this helps!

Not in front of my fuse box...

I guess I'll need to search around for this relay.
If any 126 owners know where it is please let me know...
Thanks

R-12 was just recharged but I may have a leak. This should not stop you from being able to jump the compressor though, right? Just means you might cook it if you leave it running.

Can't find this relay...

Does anyone know which relay is the AC compressor relay on a 126?
I can't seem to find this one.
