126 AC Compressor
I just had to post this since I have been trying to figure out why all of a sudden my AC compressor couldn't be jumped or anything. For those of you with this problem (assuming your compressor is not frozen) you might want to check the drivers side footwell under the kick panel. There is what I think is a temp switch that is mounted inside the heater/ac box there and only has 2 slip on connectors exposed. It is just behind and even with the bottom of the footwell vent when you have the covers off.
Well, I guess when I was trying cruise control units I must have knocked one wire off while replacing the front cover. Anyway, connected that wire and the ac compressor immediately started up and the car got cold again. For those who are baffled why you can't jump the ac compressor at the dryer this might be why! I thought it might be a relay or something that failed, call this one user error...
