Hard to tell this car is 17 years old.

I`d love to post a pic if someone can tell me how.

If you have the image on your computer simply attach it to your message. This option can be found near the bottom of the reply screen.

Interior looks really good, seems you take good care, you vacuum your car often and treat the dashboard as well. Those are leather seat right? Our car has the MBTex. I was wondering what do you use on you dashboard. I always used ArmorAll on all the plastic parts.

Thanks, E300D. The credit for the nice interior goes to the previous owner as I've only had this car for less than a year. I don't give the PO much credit for anything else though, as I had to put a lot of effort into the car in terms of mechanical maintenance. But all is good now. I don't put anything on the dashboard, but I'm religious about using a sunshade on the windshield. Heat is the #1 killer of dashboards. I believe the seats are MB-tex.

So what exactly happens when you try to attach an image? You have to be more specific. Make sure the image is not too big and it has one of the supported extensions.

Now that I`ve got it, how about a pic of the entire biodiesel fleet.

soypwrd, I see you're the wagon man! What kind of biodiesel are you running on? I use B05 and hoping that one day they will have at least B20 over here.

The badge on the passenger side denotes the 250 km milestone recognized by Mercedes-Benz (more correctly, Daimler-Chrysler); the badge on the driver's side is the Canadian Flag within a grill medallion.

It is odd as I will not be able to register the '93 W124 in Canada (if I am transferred back home) owing to a subtle modification MB made to the subframe which supports the front bumper. How do I know this? I went to the Canadian Government's website that lists which cars can and can not be imported from the U.S. to Canada. All W124s from '86 to '92 are permitted. The '93, however, is not allowed. I enquired with the Federal Government and MB Canada. The former responded with a letter and the latter reponded to my query with a phone call and a letter describing the difference.

If I am still down here in 2008 with this reliable steed, it will be a 15 year old automobile and exempt from the restriction cited in the earlier paragraph.

Yes, I`ve got whitewagonitus. I see Zeitgeist has something going for the opposite side of the color spectrum. We`re running B100 for most of the year and a B80 winter blend for the coldest months. There is a B100 retailer just a few miles down the road and a 500 gallon tank of the liquid gold in our carriage house. No Devil`s Tea for us except for the 75 gallons or so gallons of kerosene a year it takes to keep the stuff flowing in winter, wouldn`t have it any other way now.

When we first got the MB a few months back it had petrodiesel in it, of course, and the car sounded and ran great to me at the time. I ran it down to about a quarter tank and filled it with B80 to what I guessed was a B60 blend. I popped the hood before I started it up then went around to listen to her and as the new fuel began to see the combustion chambers she calmed down in a measurable way. She will live out the rest of her days on the best fuel available in North America. Good luck getting a B100 supplier of your own DieselAddict, it`s just a matter of time.

Thanks, soypwrd. I didn't switch to biodiesel until last month and one of the reasons I was interested in it was its cleaning & lubricating property. My W124 had what seemed like a slight knocking noise that would go away during Diesel Purging so I figured it was injector-related. So I tried this 5% blend but initially even after several miles of driving there was no change. But during the following week the knocking eventually died down and now it seems to be gone for good.
