fast blinking lights
When I put left directional on, lights blink normally, but when I put right one on, lights blink super fast.....none of the bulbs are burnt out.
This happened after I removed the front headlight and corner light housings to work on AC hoses...when I put is back together, the fast blinking happened?!?! Mark |

If the earth or power wires are not making a good contact, they will not allow current to the"good" globes, and they will not light. This may be the cause of your "fast" indicators. I would check the connections to the right hedlamp assembly. |
That's what it was!
When the blinker was blinking fast, both front and rear directions were lighting.
I pulled off the plug to the front directional, cleaned off all the crud on both male and female terminals, applied anti-ox grease and plugged back in...then the directional worked fine...slow blinking!! Thanks |
when the indicator on the dash is blinking 'fast' it seems to point to some sort of malfunction with the directionals. sort of like a warning device.
this seems to be common on all german cars not just mb. on mine when it happens turning on + off the hazard warning switch has cured it. |
