Back window 300CD
I'm trying to repair my left back window of my 300CD. I'm not sure if I need a new regulator, this is what happens: the window only go's halfway but if I detach the window from the regulator the regulator go's all the way down where it is supposed to go. I took the regulator out and everything seems to be fine, any suggestions, do I need a new regulator to solve this?

There are two ways to attach the linkage to the window. One way would make it go halfway and would push the window up. The other way would make it go all theway down and kinda 'pull' the window up.
I had to fix mine and after that it worked flawlessly and it's really pretty w/ the windows all the way down.

I disassembled both sides and they are hooked up the same, the right side go's all the way down with out a problem now.
Nice CD, like that color.

If I loosened the bottom guide (the screws and the two white guides) and I guide the window myself it will go all the way down, it looks like it's out off alignment somehow.
Will a new regulator solve my problem, I found one for $50, or do I need a new guide rail. And how do I replace the guide, the metal strip.
