Wouldnt I also need a boost controller? I already have the gauge (VDO) I'm also thinking of ditching the alda, and venting the CCV to atmosphere. I dont want anything besides fresh, clean air going in the intake. (I've recently cleaned the manifold, and need to clean the valves - the manifold took me hours.)

The T3 needs a rebuild. It's at 413k now.

I'll keep an eye out for a good deal, the one I linked to was just an example.

You can make a boost controller from hardware store parts for about $8. Search for "manual boost controller" here.

I just did this on my car... yes, you can just replace the wastegate on the T-025 or TB-025 turbo. Full details are in this thread.
