Vacuum 1977 300D

I have finally isolated my vacuum problem and I have fixed it and there are no longer any leaks in the actuators or the three doors the actuators are in. My engine now turns off fine but the locks are still not working. I feel like it is something in the drivers side door. I am not sure if there can be a problem there.

In my engine compartment there are two black and blue check valves and not one yellow one. I believe they changed halfway through the year because some have them and some have the yellow. I know my system is holding a vacuum but even with the car running the locks don't work. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot

David

Sounds like it might be time to pull the drivers side panel and check out the selector valve, they usually last a long time but it could be bad. Big leaks are easier to find so when you start checking the lines to and from that selector valve you should spot it. You have a mity vac of some vacuum checker?

As I remember you may have to disasamble some linkage but you can pull the valve out with all its hoses attached and check it out by pulling a vacuum on it from under the plastic strip just inside the door, driver side. There are vac junctions under this strip, both sides. You do have a Mity Vac, yes?
