Saggy seat net fix.
 

Wally World yesterday, automotive section, browsing, saw a plastic pack on a hook that was a woven bungy cord helmet securing deal for motorcycles. It's a very, very long black bungy cord knotted together to form a net for the helmet to hold it on the bike when not in use. I bought, just unravaled, it's WAY long, enough for many cars, for $6. :)

Have not yet actually installed, but it looks like a handy functional replacement. Will report more after install.

Another source for seat net bungee
 

Camping and adventure supply stores (like REI) have bulk bungee in a variety of diameters/colors. Marlene's nets were OK but the bungees were shot so I bought several yards of 1/8" to replace the DOA bungee that ran through the top of the nets. Did the job when I had the seats apart installing the new leather.

I did the same on Hildegard--but ordered my bungee material from an online source. Got yards and yards for like $10. Enough for several cars!

12 feet 1/4" black shock cord for $4.50 at local boating supply, "Boaters World"

There are mini bungee cords - the kind with the plastic ball at one end - for holding tarps in place - etc. They are just about the right size (Home Depot $6 or $7) without being too thick (the plastic seat bracket that holds them in place is only so strong) - A near perfect replacement.

I have done this on three cars. Used a black bungy that had metal end on it. Cut ends off leaving Hog ring.
Take one screw out remove back. On the inside of back you will see two phillips screws. Remove them and this will release the plastic rail. Remove old cord. Now you see you need metal clip {hog ring} to hold elastic in. It will take no more than ten minutes.
Looks a lot better.
