can't believe anyone would want.....
Got a laugh out of this one. He has listed it several times already. Would anyone be dumb enough to bid on this. The filters for this setup cost like $35!!!!!!!!!

Maybe some people don't know any better? BTW I actually paid only $24 for my last one but that is a lot for a filter either way.

I've never seen that type of assembly before. Is that a Cali spec?

I'd be tempted to buy it to fiddle around, if it was cheaper, actually.
Gets rid of the ridiculous mounting tripod (which breaks more often than the Black Forest gnomes ever imagined) of the 81-84 ( I have an 84). There are several TSB's on THAT pristine example of German engineering  .Allows the use of OEM filter (for those that don't trust/like ricer or K&N filters that other conversions use). Filter cost is $36 vs $18; not terrible, and it's way bigger (more truly filtered air). Allows easy access to my EGT probe and boost controller.
