Thumbs up Yay for end links..

What a dramatic racket and what funkyness in handling those little plastic sway bar end links can introduce into the life of a w123. I'd have never thought, but it's a night and day difference, and mine were intact, just loose. Jeez.. I can feel the good driveing/handling car under all the stuff that needs to be done now. It's a wunnerful thing..

New set of Kuhmo's tomorrow bright and early..

What kind of Kumhos are you getting? Not Advantages I hope; they are truly a SORRY excuse for tires.

I bought a set in February and tried unsuccessfully to get them balanced until last week. They'd balance on the machine but get 'em going faster than 65mph and you'd think that every one of them had flung their weights off and into the ditch.

I finally bailed on the miserable things and bought a new set of Michelins. 95+ and rock steady.

It's weird too because, a friend has a set of Kumho tires on his 911. They're working out great...in fact, it was his experience (along with some others here on the forum) that made me decide to try the Kumhos in the first place.

Live and learn.

795's. $230 OTD from colony tire, they were fast, and I got a free bag of peanuts. I could have gotten them from tire rack for $175 or so, but the hassle of transport and such, it was worth a few bucks to just get them here. They were not in stock at CT, I called on thursday, had them order a set of what I wanted and made an apointment for this morn at 8am. I'm pretty happy with CT so far.

The tires, time will tell. There quiet, seem to handle alright, ride is alright, smooth up to 70mph, high as I got on the way home. Time tells the tale with tires.

Put 300 miles on the Kuhmo's today and tonight. I'm perfectly happy, no complaint. Rain and dry, interstate and around town, they seem every bit as good as tires I've paid $100 a pop for.
Unless something dramatic happens, I'm a loyal fan from now on.
