Diesel Fuel

I've noticed lately that driving my diesel, it appears to get good pick up, but then when i try and accelarate to a higer speed it tends to feel at though it's cutting out, especially when my fuel tank is low. Is this possible water in the fuel filter? Oh by the way diesel is about a $1.59 here in Austin, how long, who knows.

Hmmm

In order of most likley to less.

#1. Bad O ring on fuel feed line.
#2. Cracked fuel feed line.
#3. Fuel tank screen fouled = plugged.

It sounds like you are loosing fuel feed or sucking some air.
This type issue only gets worse until it fails.

Have a great day.

Thanks, I'm not seeing any fuel leaks near the injector or any signs of diesel fuel on the ground. Whoud it be better to check the fuel filter first, maybe it has water in it? Where is the O-Ring located?

The O rings are on fuel filter housing coupling of hoses, replace them all.

Have a great day.
