What is the VDO for?
What is this? What does it do?
I can see that it has been disconnected.. (On my '84 300D it is still connected). FYI its mounted forward and on top of the fiel filter and power steering pump...

The VDO?
On mine it is known as the Very Disfunctional Object .
Just thought I'd add that . Kevin |

Aha! Now it all becomes clear.. That would also explain why the cruise control is non-vunctional.
