lietuviai: My air filter doesn't look like that, although I know the car was purchased new in CA in 1981.
Everybody else: I didn't mean to start a fight here. I'm a newbie, so I'm just learning my way round the Benz world. After taking a good look at the filter and installing it, I can now see it's worth the price. I was just a bit stunned since I know you can buy a reusable K&N filter for probably the price of two throwaway filters. Does anybody run a K&N air filter on their diesel Benz? Thanks! :p |
WannaWagon, I wasn't sure what year MB you had. You'd only find that filter that I was talking about in the '85 W123's and W126's. I think the CA models before '85 used the same filters as the other models. I've seen filters for your car on ebay for about $10.
