I have a 1993 300SD. I have a flare in upshifts when the transmission is not fully warmed up. I know the modulator
can be adjusted for harsh shifts by turning the plastic cap counterclockwise, however can soft slipping shifts be improved by turning it clockwise?? In order to turn it clockwise the plastic cap would have to be removed, thus destroyed. I do not know if after the removal of the plastic cap the adjustment can be moved in the clockwise direction. Certainly appreciate any help.
