Interchangeable 300SD??
 

I searched this but nothing poped up, what if any cars are interchangeable for the 81-85 300SD?? Aer some of the parts with all the w126 interchangable with the SD or maybe say only the D ??

If somebody knows, can you list some that are?? cuz it makes it alot eaiser for looking for parts on ebay than just typing in 300sd

I am compiling a list of the different models that were made on the 126 chassis,and some parts that will interchange with your SD.will post it tomorrow......

You can use just about all engine parts from same year 300D/CD/TD except that the 81 300D/CD don't have turbos.

You can use most of the body and chassis part from most years of W126.

If you have a list of parts you need, the forum can help. If it's a really long list, sell you car and buy one in better shape :D

As stated most 126 body and interior parts will interchange to your SD also some drive line parts, break parts etc.
if in dought you can check your Mercedes parts number on the part needed with a parts web site that uses MB numbers. here's a list of all the different 126 models made from 1979 to 1991 some of these are Euro models rarely seen........
