unkown dash warning light
Hi everyone,
I just bought a '93 300D 2.5 turbo. It did not come with an owner's manual. Last night when I was driving it a warning light came on. It is to the right of the low window washer fluid and left of the SRS light. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks, burnan

There are two lights inbetween the WWF(familiar acronym?), and the SRS.
Either you have a bulb out, or your ABS system may have malfunctioned. The former is naturally more common. Probably a license plate 5W bulb. Check all lights, including rear fogs if you have them. If your ABS light comes on, you could have a lazy caliper. Sometimes when you step on the service brake, you feel a pulsation and a softer brake feel than normal.

Thanks for the help. It is "bulb out" light. I thought it might be the charging system even though the car gave no obvious sign of having a problem. I've never had a car that told me I have a bulb out.
Thanks, burnan
