Looking for a station that has good prices on diesel fuel, Los Angeles Area.

I'm not sure about the gas stations that I go to in Los Angeles, but Long Beach and Fullerton has some relatively low stations.

If you exit on Anaheim St. on the 710, there's a truck stop, fueled up there three weeks ago at $2.05 a gallon.

Fueled up at a Chevron on the corner of E. Orangethorpe and Raymond Ave. at $1.89 today, in fullerton.

The 2 cheapest gas stations that I recall from LA is Petromax right off the I-5 at the seventeenth street exit i think, and there's a Unocal 76 on soto st. near the 60 freeway also.

I wanted to post this and then I saw your post.

Yesterday I was in Down Town and saw Diesel for $1.99(!) at an ARCO(?) station at Alameda; if you come from the 10 freeway excite on Alameda and take a left, a couple of blocks on the right side.

And the Arco station at Venice and Overland, yesterday $2.09 and today $2.07.

And I saw a Shell station, believe it was Pico and Overland; $2.09.

It's going down, still there are places in the city that sell for $2.79, this was Beverly Hills.

Cheapest diesel in the Valley: indie at 118 and San Fernando Road in Pacoima ($1.89); 76 at Sunland and Glenoaks in Sunland (my fave, though it's been awhile); Arco down the street (east) at Glenoaks near I-5.

If you're southeast of downtown, check the diesel-only indie at I-5 and Indiana.
