rg2098 06-13-2004 05:08 PM

I'd shoot myself before doing that to any car let alone a SL unless its a rust bucket being saved from the scrap heap

Hmmm

Mercedes Art Car 1972 - $29000

One of a kind Mercedes Art Car. 1972 380SL convertible with 1959 Cadillac Wings. Lime green. Leopard interior, newly chromed rims. This baby stops traffic and draws crowds.

A fool and his money are soon parted..........

I agree; it would make me vomit to see that in my garage.

Jorn 06-13-2004 11:19 PM

I saw also a guy with similar wings on his brand new Jaguar XKR convertible, can you imagine the faces at the dealership when he comes in for his routine maintenance.....;)

Too bad it's not black with red leather........

William Rogers.......

Ahem Ahem, also; There is/was NO SUCH THING as a 1972 380SL. That would be either a 1982 380SL or a 1972 350SL.
