'B' pillar trim 300D

Is the trim (piping) that is under the edges of the 'B' pillar interior cover held to the interior side of the pillar by anything but adhesive? Also how do you get this off without causing too much damage. Would like to move good material from an engine-damaged parts car to good driver. TIA

The piping is held on by an adhesive strip under the piller trim which is only held on by 2 screws at the bottom of the trim piece. I replaced my piping to the tune of about $25.00 ea, groon

Stevo, thanks for the reply. Guess I will give it a go, as only the forward one on the driver's side really needs to be replaced. Not really going for a 100 point interior, but want it to look a bit better than it does now. Will work on removing the donor part first, and if that works out will remove & replace the one in the driver.

you can pull off the fabric covered rubber stripping first.
then you can pull off the piping..
some contact cement to reinstall the piping works good...
