Ditch Lights?
Maybe this is crazy, but where I live we don't have streetlights and the county says the road is too narrow to paint a fog line (a white stripe at the edge of the road). As a result, when headlight glare from an oncoming car blinds you, you can't see how far to the right you can move without going in the ditch.
It occurred to me that a ditchlight could probably be aimed to just illuminate the road edge and ditch and still not blind oncoming drivers. I'm thinking it would need to be a strong focussed beam and mounted in an adjustable housing. (Actually, a remote controlled searchlight replacing the passenger RVM would work too.) So, has anyone mounted a front bumper light and if so, how did it work out? |

If you have DOT lights swap them out for a set of Euros. The Euro lights with properly adjusted fog lights will illuminate the edge of the road just as you need.
