window rail fix - very satisfying!

300TD wagon - channels that are "fixed" to bottom edge of door windows - rusty, caused problems when things got mis-aligned with the regulator, etc.,. On one (rear drivers side) I was able to "treat" by removing rust and painting. Did not have the same luck with drivers side - cannot get just the channel - comes with new window. Had all 4 made of stainless steel -(Less than $200) very basic design - I siliconed it to the bottom edge of glass. Now I will (basically) never have to worry about this again. Steve
