Force of air from some vents seems weak. Is this normal?
In my 300SD I get forceful air from the defroster and the vents for rear passengers when the control panel is set at any setting. The air coming from the vents and floor up front seems quite weak. Is this normal, or is there something I can fix?
If I need to replace the control unit, will the control unit from my scrap 300D work? |

I have the same problem, and according to my indy, it has something to do with the vacuum system. I think the set of vacuum actuators behind the dash have to be replaced, or something else to do with the vacuum system. So, the dash has to come out to access the vacuum components. The parts are cheap, but the labor makes it expensive, and removing the dash, that's not my kind of DIY job.

It tuns out that the cause of the problem is that my control panel is not working.
