transmission storage?

I have a w116 transmission with about 10k since it was rebuilt, pulled from a wreck. I most likely will be storing it for 6 or more months. It will be stored inside temperatures average about 70 degrees but a few days as high as 104. I am concerned about seals drying out. Does any one know the proper way to store a transmission or any thoughts?
Thank you
Dave S

For just six months you probably need to do nothing. I've stored Porsche transaxles for 20 years covered with only plastic bags.
