Inspection and Registration Questions
I had my car inspected about a month ago, and when the guy was typing in the info into the computer, he chose gas as the fuel type. I said "excuse me, this is a diesel", his reply "don't worry, I'll take care of it", so when he got to model choices, I saw that he had no diesel models to choose from, only 380SE, SL, SEL, so, he clicked other and typed in 300SD, but on some paperwork I got from the inspector's site, it read gas as fuel type, and I just got some paperwork in the mail for new plates, and it says that my car is a gasser in the car information box. Will this cause any problems in the future?

Since your area is probably one of the " exhaust inspection" areas now it may be a hassle... they may send you a notice and charge you the extra few when you get your tag for next year...
I would complain and take care of it now if I were you.... |

when I bought my diesel, the original title had it listed as gas, even though it was accompanied by a diesel emissions exemption. When I registered it, the lady was confused, but fixed it no problem. Probobly depends on the state you live in..
