Best sequence for front-end rebuilt

I have a 83 300D Turbo , 309K.

There have been postings on front-end rebuilts.

What is the best sequence to go about doing this - do u start with the tie rods or replace the Upper control arm bushings first etc

For those that have tackled this, what would u suggest?

I think it depends exactly what items you are replacing. I did my car and replaced absolutely everything, including the shocks, upper c/a assembly, lower c/a bushings, and the oft-ignored track rod (guide rod?) mounts on the frame. The steering links are easy, but the ball joints are a royal PITA. I hate messing with the wheel bearings too. Photos of my project are here:

I think it took about 12 hours total. A real pro can do it in half that time, maybe, if there are no problems.
