A friend has a 84 300SD he purchased from the original Canadian owner who moved to Florida. Does this vehicle differ from the US model in safety/construction or mechanical systems? Other than the speedo and odometer reading in kilometers only the car appears to be the same as a US model. The car has a doorframe sticker that states the vehicle meets U.S.E.P.A. standards for 1984. Any info on differences or special things to watch out for.
