602 Transplant Help

I have a 1991 300D 2.5 Turbo that died due to a bad oil pump chain. I have a found a modestly priced 93 300D 2.5 turbo engine to transplant instead of rebuilding.
Any differences in the two motors that would make this job a PITA (well, more of a PITA than a usual transplant... )?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure if you use the injection pump, and control module and air intake plumbing from the old engine, there wouild be NO problem at all (and there might not even be a problem with the later engine's injection pump and air intake/EGR parts). The documentaion in the OM602/603 manuals is a little fuzzy about changes.

The basic engines (block, head, etc) should be interchangable.
