i got my injectors for 43.98 plus 15 core charge. Once I returned the cores I got my 15 per injector back. I know that two places sell them and I got mine from *********************** Our forum sponsor also has them.

if you do buy them make sure you send them out to be tested and adjusted

I think I'd like to invest in a injector pop tester. My understanding is that the little washer that sits above the spring is where the adjustments are made depending on washer thickness.

You can set each injector perfectly to the next, sort of like gapping spark plugs I guess, and have your engine purr like a kitten!

I also read here in this forum, that new injectors need to be broken-in and that process can take much time!

Getting off topic but I believe that he said 5 x 55
lets say 275

It is a different type of work environment in Panama City.

Many minimum wage jobs exist.

I joined the USN in the fall of '63 and by the spring of '64 while at electronics school at Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay I got paid $35 twice a month. Do you how much a good meal was on Fisherman's Wharf in '64? $10 to $15.

When I decided to return to acadamnia, I entered a world of lowww payyy. I made more in junior high school than I do right now.
I left one job last month to go to a lower paying job.
Last job WAS lowest paying job I every had.

Boy, I sure miss flat rate pay.

well I can eek out a bit better than min. wage in my field even in this area. Just not much more in this area. I coach around 20 hours a week here. In the past it was more like 50 to 60. I'm like like those above who had to change jobs for varies reasons. All in all I took a 75-80% cut in pay when I had to move back here to my home town.

Butttt... I cant work full time away from the house. I'm like a single dad but with two 80 year old children to take care of. This takes a huge chunk of my time. I dont get paid in dollars for taking care of them.

Yep 80yrs! I am the family member taking care of my once full of energy and life parents. No violins playing a sad song here. Caring for them is a GREAT job and their worth it. Just hard on the pocket but I can live with that. Just gotta be wise with the ol' dolla.

Back on topic.

Where to get injecter nozzles?

I want to get a different nozzle than those for the 300D. I want the ones for the same engine but used in commercial rigs etc. They had different nozzles. I do have the part number. My direct from India source is around 12 bucks/nozzle before shipping. Suspect I can get around same in US and they will most likely be from India too.

i called napa today and they want 138.38 for REBUILT ones. i put some hi-test in the tank and drove it on the freeway in 3rd gear. it seems to be running a little smoother. i would still like to start saving for new ones. what all is needed for a rebuild? i searched fastlane and european automotive and couldnt find the whole injector. all i could find was the parts to rebuild them. tomorrow i will run the purge as well as install a new shutoff valve. not to be off topic but, does anyone know what i can use to clean the oil out of the vacuum lines going to the switch? keep the info coming. thanks for all the replies

Kmaysob:

Buy new vacuum hose! It's cheaper than the time and the money for the cleaner you will use to clean them!

Vacuum hose really is cheap! I'll bet that for under 3 bucks you can replace all vac hoses in your car!
