Fuel line thread size
The fuel line coming out of the bottom of my fuel tank is leaking on my '78 300SD. I am converting the car to Straight Veg Oil soon and don't want to replace it with the same type of line(probably going with Viton tubing). Does anyone know what size thread in the bottom of the tank is? I'd like to replace it with a fitting that allows me to connect my own hose. It looks like it might be standard pipe thread, but it could also be metric. Getting the right fitting before taking it apart would be helpful.
Thanks for any assistance, Joe

Hi Tony,
thanks for the reply. I'll have to give that a try. Joe
