Dude, where's my coolant?

Hello all,
My '82 300D has developed an incontinence problem lately, "leaking" about a pint of coolant a day. I'm pretty sure it is coming from the water pump, but the pump (that which I can see and feel) is dry. Is there a weep hole on the bottom of the pump as well, from whence my coolant is drip, drip, dripping; and would it make sense that the pump would leak only when the car isn't running? The level doesn't appear to go down when driving (about 100 miles every day) and the temp holds perfectly at ~85C, never over 95C in traffic with the AC blowing.

Many thanks,
Tom

Leaking from the weep hole AFTER the engine is shuit down is typical behavior of a pump about to fail!
