Have a 1987 300TD wagon here with the back window sitting in the bottom of its channel. The owner knows I can fix anything, but would rather not take the other door apart to see how the cable system operates and why it came apart.

Anyone have experience with these?

There was a small tie-bracket at the bottom of the door I assume ties the tow sprung ends of the cable together?

Any help is appreciated. If nothing soon, I guess I'll just tear the other door down and see how it works and re-assy the same.
