Does Anyone know how to decipher the manufacture code stamped on top of an Original Mercedes Diesel Battery (White Battery Case with Handles)?

I am trying to determine the manufacturing date of my Battery, but can not decipher the code.

I am specifically interested in knowing the Month, and Year of Manufacture.

A1 or is it 1A ,is Jan 2001. F4 or 4F is May 2004 or it could be 1994 but there aren't many 10 year old batteries around.
